I bought a 20 gauge youth model for my now 11 year old daughter when she was 9. Her and her now 9 year old sister shoot that and the 22 long rifle from time to time. My oldest can out shoot her two boy cousins who are 2 and 3 years older then her.
I'm not sure when they plan on teaching the boys to shoot. Probably a little while yet, as they are only 3 & 1... maybe next year?
