Well, it's time. I've got to see about going to a sleep specialist.
Yesterday morning I did my usual sleep-for-3-or-4-hours-then-wake-up thing (that was with 150mg of Trazodone.) I managed to fall back asleep around 8pm. When I woke up, the clock said 3:01. My first thought was "I thought we already had 3 o'clock today" and then of course I realized it was now 3 AM. My shift started at midnight.
Not good.
I'm getting very tired of being tired all the time. This sucks.

God, I hate 3rd shift.
Maybe you should try second shift.
At least I could sleep on that one.
I had a sleep study done, and it's made a profound difference in the quality AND quantity of my sleep!
I hope that you are able to get the help you need in order to get sleep. If you get a different shift would it help you? Wishing you meny sleep filled days.
CUG - The problem with 2nd or even 1st shift is that there would be a lot more restraints & my carpal tunnel can't handle that. It has crossed my mind to switch anyway...
Leslie - I'm glad to hear that. Hopefully it'll work for me.
Andy - I've really started looking for another non-vampire-ish job. And thanks for the wish...
